Great work on the expression and on the pose!
The anatomy looking a little off but other than that nice job man!
Looking forward to the end result!
cool model! I think the apron is more sinister more therefore i like it
Very nice work.
I would have to agree that the apron is better. Not only does it give him more character, its looks better.
Also short shorts just don't strike fear into me like aprons do. Haha.
Can't wait to see more.
Best - Iain
Thanks for the votes guys.
The apron it is.
Yeah I see what you mean about short shorts not being scary.
Quick speed sculpt
Thought I'd throw up a speed sculpt from a sphere with Dynamesh.
Still trying work on my anatomy, shapes and from.
Any thoughts and comments always welcome
Hi there Laurie, you have a really interesting mix of work here - I've enjoyed looking at it all. The last sculpt is looking nice, I like the slender and yet toned look he has, and the lengthened neck. Keep up the great work!
Reading your post was such a nice surprise. I'm so glad you like my work.
I have a lot of creative battles with my anatomy and am really trying to develop that area of my sculpting. It inspirational to hear your positive feedback. Keeps me motivated.
Thanks heaps. I really do appreciate the positive words to help validate the direction I am going with my sculpting.
Thats pretty bad a**
I like the character you got going with this alien, the gesture he has is really adding to it.
Reminds of something from ME3
Keep on crackin girl
a good day,
I'm also liking the proportions you got for him. Thin arms and sort of narrow head and the "V" shaped sort of rib cage.
I wouldn't want to be in this guys way
Yeah I agree the proportions are really great! Keep playing with the muscle anatomy. I sort of like were the earlier version was going. It would be cool to see a more sinewy type treatment with the muscle structure playing with the striations of how the muscle is connected in relationship with the skin. Good stuff!
Thanks for the feedback guys. Really glad to hear you like the direction of this work.
The sinewy look and muscles striations were the feel I was trying for but couldn't really get it to work. If you know of any tips or workflows to help develop muscle striations on a sculpt that would be great. I have tried using Clay buildup brush but I still can't get the look I want.
Thanks again for your thoughts on my work.
