    Default DR01D Sketchbook

Finally time to put a thread together and start pumping out some concept sculpts. This one is still WIP, mainly just learning all the brushes and using subtools.

My aim is to to at least one per month to build up the skills and to actually get some ideas down.

Feedback on getting the edges and flat surfaces smoother would be appreciated.. I have been using mainly flatten, polish with smooth but it still looks lumpy.

I was going to do a creature sculpt and it kinda went towards a dragon so I just kept going..

Looking good; also, lumpy isn't necessarily a bad thing. Depends on the image you're trying to portray.

Keep up the good work. One thing I'd advise is that you try using planar brushes in conjunction with pinch, flatten, and polish. Planar brushes tend to give a more firm cut into a surface, leaves less of a "lumpy" feel.
