Default I'm goin' to Sha Booms!

    Hi,
I thought I'd post a portrait which I have been working on lately:

I experimented with different means to create skin /eyes/ hair and tried to improve my compositing skills.
All done in Maya, Zbrush and Photoshop.

    Cheers

Nicely done! Good expression, the hairs on his chin cool be a little more numerous though.

This is phenomenal... how did you do the hair? Is that Zbrush fiber brush?

    Great work.

    Hi Eric,
I did use the Fibre Mesh function but only to style the hair!
I then exported straight to Maya using the .ma format where I attached a hair system with paintFX hair. This allows to have multiple hairs (clumps) for each guide curve and has a lot of other attributes like frizz, kink, curl etc.

Hi people, I thought I'd turn this into a sketchbook thread were I post my ongoing process

My version of DC's Lobo I was working on a few weeks back. Not 100% done but all in Zbrush:

Here is the finished real time model:

I also did some tests using Zbrush and Photoshop to get more of a natural media feel into my render:

    Howdy!
