Has there been any update since Sculprtis Alpha 6? It's sort of been quiet for a while and just like to know what are the plans for Sculptris future and some approximate time line if possible?

inb4 all sculptris functionality is assimilated into zbrush and we never see a new version again.

Although I'd love to see an update, this is a relatively old topic. Wings3d, Blender, and Meshlab all have a Tri's to Quads function. Along with all the posts on Retopo, Decimation, UV-mapping, if you're seriously waiting for a Sculptris update for this, then you missed the boat long ago.
Sculptris by it's self is nothing more than a doodle pad. The UV-mapping doesn't work well in other softwares, and the topology won't animate well, and there's no scene editor - no way to rename/manage objects, groups, materials, etc. However, Using Sculptris along with Wings3d, Blender, Paint.NET, etc. you have MOST (95%) of the functionality of Zbrush/3DSMax, the other 5% being time. Yes the time it takes to export an .obj and import it to another program which is maybe a minute longer than pushing the GoZ button? The time it takes to open an image and build a texture in Paint.NET ? The time it takes to Decimate/Remesh/Retopo/Shrinkwrap and UV-map a Low-poly.

Sculptris isn't Zbrush, and since Pixologic owns it, it never will be! If you NEED Zbrush, then buy Zbrush.

I don't expect Sculptis to be ZBrush. And I truly hope Sculptis is never ZBrush. Just looking at ZBrush interface with it's 1000++ controls gives me a heart attack. I'm just a hobbyist and find Sculptis great for a quick pickup an go with no fuss modeller. Ideas just flow straight to creating a model without learning anything too complex. It's great for a casual user like myself but it could do with a few more tweaks, stability and convenient functions.

My issue is that this, and now qremesher has been teasing us with an auto retopo for too long now. If it's not going to happen tell us and don't give us false hopes.
