So much for posting more this month...=/. Work has been insane. Anyway, I've entered a character modelling contest and this is one of the female's weapons. I'll post more WIP images when I've completed more of the model.

Hello Everyone. So i entered a character contest at Mixamo ( http://www.mixamo.com/c/user-contest...deling-contest ) and I was doing pretty well modelling my character, despite the hours at work and all. So I finish working one day and I put down the digital pen and it rolled off the desk and hit the floor. As you can imagine from that point on it didnt work anymore... HUGE disappointment but things happen I guess...
Seeing that I wont make the deadline on time I've decided to give away the ZTL file and let you guys use it for whatever you'd like. This is for personal or comercial purposes. All I ask in return is that you credit me for the model and provide a link to the thread, thats it. I just hope you guys enjoy it

I did not include the dynamesh base concept in the file. THis is all post dynamesh.

    File:
    http://www.mediafire.com/file/f0j1w3...h/FSP_01_F.ZTL

You're also going to notice that it doesnt have lots of surface detail because the computer that I was using was a Pentium 4 with 3 gb of RAM so I couldnt go too far with the details. I had planned to add more details to the normal map in Photoshop later on.
The roboarm was modelled in Blender3D

    Dynamesh concept:

    Blender3D parts Retopo:

I'll add more WIP images in next post.

I imported all those parts into Zbrush to add some details. I didnt import the roboarm because I was still modelling it in Blender and I didnt need to add any detail to it. Thats why shes lacking an arm lol :P :

    Santis: Thanks!

InkySpot: Thank you. Actually, I've already ordered another tablet today so I'll be getting it in a couple of days. I have to be more careful this time... Yeah no problem. Its nice to give back sometimes. If you have any questions about the model, let me know.

So Its been a while since my last post, mainly becuase of work... I've decided to enter another mixamo contest(hopefully I'll finish this model this time). I was really disappointed that I wasnt able to finish the last model so this will be kind of like a pay back (lol?)
Anyways... I went with the "sword and shield" character and I havent come up with any conceptart so I'll have to see where all this dynameshing will take me :P
