    Default Outer Space Bounty Hunter

Hey Guys, I modeled a character for character forge challenge at cghub. Marco Marzzoni was kind enough to make an concept for me. Since the deadline was so tight I had to assemble the character quickly. Now since the contest is over I want to push this piece beyond my Balrog model. For now I need to raise his right knee higher and make the metal edges on the armor worn. I'll add early pictures of my renders so you can get a better idea of my progress.

the orange painted on badges would make it 'pop' more adding to the realism.

I agree with the above about the materials/texture through the mid section, they do look a bit polished concrete in appearance. Also the pose is a little "Glee" if that makes sense, not what I would expect a paid killer/bounty to stand like.

Overall modelling from conception is great, good job.

    Dman3d-thanks alot

jawa64- Yeah I plan on putting the logos on him soon.

    Derek Frenzo-thanks

seriks-I agree I'll change the textures on the boxes, make them look more plastic

    Webhead-thanks

electrique-Thanks,the textures need more love in the mid section. As far as the pose, I agree it's kinda glee from the left side but I think its fine from the front and 3 quarter view.

Hey guys here's an update. Trying to make the surfaces look more worn.Don't pay attention to the collar piece in the second picture, it needs more work. I'll probably take a break from this and tweak the pose.

Thumbs up We have a piece of art right here!

So, this is truly a work of art. Just everything about this is freaking polished and just outstanding. One of its key features is it has variety where it needs it!!!! All these new features of Zbrush are starting to look a lot of the same when it comes to future esk marines or space suits or just too many angles making it look like a bunch of clay lumps smoothed out in random spots! This one, however, looks very well thought out and overall appealing to the eye. So many models now it seems have almost too much detail and the eye cant seem to bounce around to take in the entire work of art. This piece does so with flying colors. It's just enough in the areas it needs to be. Bravo my friend...bravo! This is truly a unique piece.

    AVBN5000-thanks for the comment
    MrHappy-thanks you!
    kilik128-thanks

I know I'm jumping the gun here, but I fooled around with some hdr images. I also tweaked the metal pieces, minus the piece up top and hoses. Which one do you guys like more.
