The charcoal material is very nice, your sculpture too, of course.
I've some problems in entering paintmode too.
Maybe we'll find a general solution there:

    Taron>> Thanks master !
I was going to learn Messiah about 5-6 years ago just because I had seen your stunning works in the gallery of Messiah's site;... Now I'm learning to use Sculptris for a similar reason. Many thanks for inspiring people like me for such a long period of time !

blueferret>> Thanks mate, but I really want to steal your lovely glass type material ...

Tartan>> Many thanks for kind words my friend ...

Welcome to the endless circle of life:

    03TreeOfEternity.jpg

Done with two running versions of sculptris.
    One for the background.
    One for the foreground.

The foreground version uses the rendered image of the background version as background image

Not a winner but its all mine. I've seen some powerful images on this thread and have observed some astounding development amongst the Sculptris community. My hat is off to all of you!

@ dreamz you have a devilish intelligence about you coming up with a challenge like this.

    Default Dark 666

The Back ground image is stamped and painted on a plane with a gradient image overlaid . Both were rendered in Sculptris and dark 666 is in the foreground with an additional layer of fog...... and Rendered in Sculptris.....

Mermadine : awesome and so alive.....
Celtic3d: woderful clarity and subtle colors....
piz: lovely shader in this piece....
knacki: tree of life or horn of plenty....its way cool.....
lorembolo: the charcoal material works well with that piece......
