A beeing which has head and limbs but no torso The word comes from ancient greek language where cephalus is the head and pod the foot, so it could be translated by headfoot. In marine biology squids and octopus count among that species in nature, and in child art it is used too for the drawings of humans which children usally start at the age of three.
Your Eric of course is a far more grown up and artfully designed human cephalopod but a cephalopod nevertheless

Here's my go at it, hehe... wow, that's such a cute challenge! Great stuff already!

This is rather tame, but I might do a few more tomorrow...(I was afraid I'd have to dig for the default material, hahaha!)

I'd like to present you to a friend of mine...his name is Alain Vert!
He's french and has a little problem, but he'll never admit it.

...and for some unknown reason he gets along really well with the ladies.

    Superb, Djeust! Beautifully executed, really.

Very cute cow, mermaid. But that sheep earlier is a complete riot. I love it!

A lot of people didn't seem to read the rules thoroughly.

    Rules: Use the default material.
    No painting
    No outside rendering

HAHA, I would've rather said that a stunning amount of people obeyed the rules, HAHA. Yeah, welcome to the world of low attention span, hihi. Who ever moderates this could feel free to help those, who don't have time to read, but time to post, by sending a friendly reminder and, if nothing happense, eventually edit the posts. I mean...it ain't an official challenge, but still. Just PM them...

    Default Violation Warning!

Some very fun sculpts - BUT, some are in direct violation of the rules. Prepare to be boiled in a Plutonian Vat, miscreants!
