great stuff as always man ...
and like the render too (luxrender again?) , just ...
some bigger lights or some more samples for softening the edges of the shadows may give the scene a better mood.
    great anyway ...
Out beyond the ideas of right-doing or wrong-doing there is a field,... I'll meet you there.

Smile Tons of ... Dummy Head!

Hi Guys! I found a fun pursuit: try to use a base mesh for more and more models... and explore.
I think is a good exercise, too!

    I hope you like them...

It's been a long time since I have seen this thread Plz. Its been one of my favorites here. There have been a lot of good things in it since then. I really love Insectoid and your aliens. I like the base mesh extrapolations also

    Hey Thanks a lot Blueferret!

Always I try to "cut" holes and extrusions with a good triangle Detail value (but.. not to much) and after I use Pinch tools on the edges... so you can have good details without to much polys cost! Very easy!

    Thanks Dude!

Yes, Cycles is an alternative renderer for Blender.
It's similar to Keyshot and it can be CUDA accellerated... but also it's node based, quick and powerful too!

You should check the CaptainNemo thread on this render engine.

    Ciao
