    Post Importing Image problem

    Hello!
When I try and import an image from Photoshop 6.0 (either in the *.psd, or *.bmp) the image is stretched out in ZBrush. I've tried to make the image size smaller but the image is still stretched.
This is probably the least of my problems with ZBrush, for I am having a difficult time remembering how to find all the tools and manipulating the functions to create something.
    Thanks in advance.

If you want to set the image as the background, I believe that the resolution of the image you are importing, must be the same as your ZBrush document or you'll get stretching or shrinking. Also make sure you set your active material to Flat Color before you import an image as your background to maintain the proper colors.

You may also want to try importing your image as a texture and then applying that texture to a 3D Plane with the same height/width ratio as your image if you want to import an image larger or smaller than your document. That way you can scale, move and rotate the image within your document.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
CDEdwards has already described correctly all the info about importing an image (Thanks CDEdwards )
You may also use the TEXTURE import function to import your image and then use a 3DPlane tool to draw the texture in the size that you want.
