Really like the seated figure posted in here on the previous page,..The one that you are thinking of having a print made of. ..Puts me in mind of the last scene in the movie Blade Runner, ..where the bird, a symbol of his spirit set free, is released from his hand as he expires..Great scene..

Ok Did some adjustments on Bill. I had to redo his shirt because the mesh became inverted and unfortunately found no real solution outside of don't be a dummy and pay attention to whats happening. Regardless I also changed the colors and the shape of the hat. Cleaned up a lot of the cloth as well.

Something isn't feeling right with the folds on the pants so I'm thinking about that next. Was getting too many looks like freddy kreuger comments with the black so hope this reads a bit better.

    Hi Segaholic

You are getting some good emotions projected in those last few sculptures that you posted..
On your last one..the woman...Maybe a little more work on and around the eyes...Eyes are a big part of what makes a woman beautiful, and should always be given a lot of attension..They can make or break an emotion that is projected in the rest of her face...Just thinking to myself out loud here...
Great job on her lips by the way..

THanks a lot spirit I definitely agree that her eyes lack the most...Still not comfortable with making girls but I think a couple more will do it.

Post some orthographic views of that female and I'll outline what you need to fix. Don't give up and try again from scratch, all it takes is a bit of tweaking to get it right.
And also, speed it one of the keys to the industry, but when your practicing try and get your models to the best they can be. Aim for quality over quantity, you will learn a lot more and build a better portfolio.

You're on your way with the anatomy, but now you should really start to take a closer look.
Start finding the proper flow of the muscles (insertion to origin).
You've got some stuff in there, but practice

Take a look at some proportions, and you guy has way too many abs

    Keep at it!

    Hi Segaholic

    http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=mc...+hogarth+books

Above is a link to some great books, by a Great teacher..I think that you would really luv them, if you get them..An investment that you will never regret..Trust me on that....I have them all, and can always find the answers to any problem that i'm having in any figure that i'm working on within them..never have failed me yet.. They will take any guesswork out of any figure that you create...guaranteed.
You have the energy and imagination for sure...Time to take your anatomy skills to a higher level to match that energy and imagination...That's where those books come in handy and become a most valued treasure in your arsenal of tools to work with..
    Anyway,...Keep on Truckin...and Progressing...it's a lifetime event that takes a lifetime

Thanks for the links spirit Will snag some books very soon. Already I can tell these will be great help.

@MJ You have a really great piece for realistic anatomy, do you think you could trace my image without making the physique look too natural? Keep the style but make the anatomy correct.

Definitely 2 too many abs...but is 2 wayyyy to many?
