Brought all maps onto the low poly figure in 3ds max. they still need tweaking.
This is a really bad render, and 3ds max hair and fur looks like crap, like troll doll hair. I think with this one I will model the hair.

Heres a render with lighting and the Phoenix fire effect. I recently discovered the coolness that is ringwave and also the lighting effect "bloom". No, if I can just find a good hair modeling tutorial, I dont like the look f the hair and fur modifier, and when I model hair it looks cr@ppy.

Thanks Pro4210! It still needs some work in the low poly stage to give it more volume. then I will bring it into zbrush to give it detail and export the normals to 3ds max.

As Im tweaking the Phoenix model I am also modeling sets for the animation. I want two sets for the animation. one will be the x-men head quarters and the other one will be a battle field of sorts where she just destroys tons of $h!t.

Below is a test render of materials, not so much the modeling because it was done really quick to see how the materials would work. Let me know whatcha think.
