Almost there with the face. Here are two versions. One is Jean grey regular, and the second one she is being overturned by the Phoenix force.

That Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) is not a real redhead and yes, every hair color has its unique features. Ok, there are faces that could easily pass off, when dyed or wearing a wig, as any type but there are some that only match with one color (their own, of course). Good ginger examples: Julianne Moore, Gillian Anderson and Geri Halliwell.

Well obviously Famke Jannsen is not a real red head. Shes got black eyebrows. . I think what your saying is to go with what "natural" red heads have. like freckles and pale skin, and reddish blonde hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. stereotypical. I will try to make her look more...natural/irish, if thats the concensus. There is a thing called black irish as well, which irish people have darker features, tan skin, darker hair etc. But whatever, I'm not going to argue this to death, i will work through the middle. And, I am what you refered to as a natural "ginger".

And you never noted any difference with a "natural" blonde or brown haired friend??? That's rich! lol!

Here are a few costume designs. I think the costume will look like a cross between the first and third sketch

So begins the costume modeling. I'm starting with the torso, then the gloves and boots and then the sash at the end.

I rendered out the normal maps and applied them to the low poly model within 3ds max and made a render. So far so good!, i plan to add more detail, fix color scheme, add other maps and textures! Woot! Its coming together!

Also, tweak the head, add hair, rig, and animate with awesome particle effects!

Thanks Pro4210. Here is a shot of another 3ds max render. one is with the normals added to the low poly, and the other is the base mesh without the normals added.

Little by little this model is coming along. I finished texturing the costume. Im pretty done with the face, although Im thinking of scrapping it so that i can make a open mouth so I can rig it. also I will be rigging the body, and making fun animation.
