    Post Head 2

Another Poser Head brought into ZBrush...

I lost this "tool" before I had a chance to save it.

Nice. Too bad you didn't get to save it first...

I can already see that Zbrush is going to be a must have tool for Poser people, looking at this as an example. I haven't a clue about poser but is morphs like that even possible using Poser?

I'm either going to have to buy it or is there a way to convert Poser files to an obj file without Poser? I know there are alot of free and inexpensive poser models out there it would be cool to be able to use them.

You've done a nice job Thor

Yeah... I'm still trying to get the hang of the ZBrush "workflow", and layer management.

You can create morphs in Poser... but not like this, and not as easily. The problem also with Poser is that the meshes (.obj files) that are exported are pretty lo-res. In ZBrush, I import the .obj, then subdivide the mesh for better quality. The problem with this is that Poser won't use the subdivided mesh as a morph target, because it doesn't have the same number of vertices. But that's okay... I'm starting to like rendering in ZBrush instead of Poser anyway.

I've also found that Poser doesn't like to import the .obj files that ZBrush creates without converting them with a utility first. (I use MacConverter for this step)

    I'm learning a lot... and it's a BLAST!
