    Default Sculptris painting primer video

    Hello everyone,

    I have created a painting primer for sculptris. In the video i will be painting a little rabbit while making certain all aspects of the painting module will get covered.

    Link to video on Vimeo

    The following topics will be touched.

    - UV texture painting VS vertex painting
    - Brush settings
    - Painting with color
    - Using masks
    - Using cavity painting
    - Using multiple materials
    - Painting with bump
    - Using photoshop in conjunction with sculptris
    - Exporting your maps for external rendering

    I hope its useful to you and please let me know what you think.

    Default 3dioot, Thank You So Much!

    Yet again you've made Sculptris so much easier to understand, and made me realize just how incredible it is, especially being a free app....which I hope it continues to be. I've learned so much.Thank you again.

    @DrPetter
    Thankyou. I hope it helps people to use the paint module and its functions to the full extent. Since ive covered sculpting and painting now in my video's its time for you to release something new for the public. Otherwise what would i create video's about?

    @cuffi
    Im glad to hear you trying out paint. Its lots of fun and especially with simpler models relatively fast while really giving that finish to your model. I look forward to see what you come up with.

    @dreamz
    Your welcome. As for the future of sculptris. You'd have to ask DrPetter.

    @Teria
    Your welcome too.

    @sculptrisnewb
    Thankyou man. Now what are you going to do when you are no longer a sculptris newbie? Are you going to change your nick?

    @F I L
    Your very welcome. I really enjoy your works. The material blending in sculptris is really nice and opens lots of options. For the creation of material sets you can use this great tool coded by Taron. It will make material creation easy!

    Thankyou for the comment on the rabbit. Makes me very happy.

    Really? Pasting your question from your own thread into mine without even showing the courtesy of commenting on the video?

    Blame the forum admin for making it so that the post takes about 5h, if not more to be submitted. Im used to be able to edit my posts right away.

    But yeah, great tutorial. Should be a sticky.
