cool design! the hairless?!-t-rex is weird!! hahaha!
please ask pixo to host your files, huge traffic already closed the doors to your files man! ;-)
chem!
-
chemkid: Thanks, and sorry about the videos. I uploaded them to YouTube for now, at least until I can fin a better way to host them.
The trex is just a WIP, and also an experiment with the new SSS materials. It does look a bit like a hairless cat... Ha!
Thanks,
Dave Wolf

hey the heart animation was sick.. really great..
-
The Heart is simply awesome, the spotlight texturing looks great, though I think the dropbox links choked to death.

Lord of Blah

dagoned: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.
CorDox: Thanks! I didn't foresee the dropbox having a limit, but I guess it wasn't meant for the masses.
I'm trying to figure out another way to host it. Please check back later if you're interested in the workflow.
Thanks,
Dave Wolf

I Love the heart transformation so much!! Great work!
-
I like this cliff climber creature. Great work
I hope this spot light painting tutorial will be available soon.
-
Great, I was looking for an explanation on how to use spot light. Nice Work!
-
Is the heart the same model? animated sculpt and material paint in time line?
-
adrift22: Thanks!
interspace: I'm glad everybody is digging the heart!
Tomala: Thanks, I'm glad you liked the Cliff Skipper! He was fun to create, and I have more lans for hime down the road. Sorry about the tutorial, but I think it's back up and working again. There was a bit of excessive traffic for a while. Let me know if you can view or download it.
Dmonk: Thanks! I hope you found it useful. I'm planning other tutorials that go into spotlight a little further. Check back later!
3dassets: Yes, the heart is one mesh from start to finish and the paint are two different layers and just animating the opacity. I might put together a tutorial on how I achieved this if people are interested.
Thanks,
Dave Wolf

I've just checked and tutorial is available to view and download. Thanks man
-
Tomala: Thanks for checking back in. It was my first tutorial, so it would be nice to know what you thought... honestly. I'd like to do some more, so I want to make sure they're easy to follow.
Thanks,
Dave Wolf

Zwolf, I like your heart, I mean the heart
Would love to see how to do that, it is what I dream of what Zbrush can do, are you able to export the models as morph? It would be awesome, thank you very much.
