Thanks a lot for your kind comment Sculptrisnewb

I'm not sure about the dragonfly, I think I'll finish it another time I started
    a new sculpt

(you sit a little in front of Sculptris and you can't stop making new stuff haha)

This is a quicky of a kind of evil pig, need lots of work I would like to try and
make a full character (with body etc..) and then build a lowpoly version to
    rig him.

And the progress of the body, trying to get the general form. I don't have
good anatomical knowledge so I'm looking for overweight people reference
    pictures.

I just couldn't resist I wanted to see a small render with him

And the dark side of his moon , I need to make more fat on his back.

    render_004.jpg

I'm not sure about the size of his hands, going for a small looking hand
with fat fingers, or for the exagerated oversized one. I think a more
normal looking hand size would suit better the character. (and I'm
affraid hands are hard to make )

I did the low resolution mesh and it's around 7.500 faces, I baked a normal
map to keep the details of the high res version. Here is a render of the low res
mesh with the normal map and a quick color correction:

Still load of things to do like texturing and (ouch) rigging but before that I have
to think about putting some cloth on this bad dude.

Thanks a lot Sculptrisnewb The model in Sculptris is 667.870 tris,
I have to admit it's not that much optimized but since my comp can handle it
I left it as it is.

I don't know if this was already told but there is also an alternative of the
optimize procedure of a model with a freeware called MeshLab.

It works fairly well, it can reconstruct, clean and optimize models.

He is looking food T I mean good I think I better go get breakfast! Bacon and eggs I am wondering the scene you will be putting him in and the clothes. Meshlab sounds like a good program, I am going to have a look at it now.

Thats a wonderful powerful looking program Mr.T I am betting it will help me out with some 3d scanner files I need to work on I have a Next Engine scanner and it can leave some nasty areas.

Back to your obese model. I am looking at the detail you have on the hands and feet and all I can say is really nice job. Those are by far the hardest areas for me in both sketch and 3d. Their shape fits the rest of him well.

    Thanks Tartan

I'm sure you will find great use of this freeware with your 3d scans
It can fills holes/gap, clean noise, retopo! Might be interesting to have
feedback about this freeware with someone owning a 3d scanner
If you do some test I'm curious to see how good it handles/deals with
this kind of "heavy" imported mesh.

As for the hands and feet I totally agree, it's really hard to sculpt/model
and it can becomes a nightmare I'm sure the model have lots of issues
in these areas but I'm really happy about your comment, thank you
