You have been having a lot of fun with mats Blue. I like the blue green on the raptor the best but this last has the colors of a local football team Looks good

    Blueferret,

Just wanted to thank you for having a look at my thread and have a look at yours in turn. After going through it all, I'd have to say my favorite stuff is the dinos early on. They had more clarity of form, something I could catch on to. I also liked some of your abstract pieces, the purple folded glass one especially is intricate and lovely. That said, a lot of the material gets very noisy/busy visually, which is a turn off for me personally. All the glows and flares and shaders and such kind of obscures things for me. Makes it hard to offer anything in the way of suggestions other that to quiet it down. So if I was going to critique this material it would be that you should simplify. Focus on a clear presentation of form and not try to wow me with pyrotechnics. I hope that's taken as it's intended, a friendly reaction to the style displayed. In any event, thanks for taking the time to comment on my thread. Keep sculpting!

    -B

    Default Red Dragon

@ nimaj....Hey Thanks for the input....I realize that I really enjoy splashing colors around with my shaders and should maybe spend more time on refining my sculpts but Must admit I'm just being a little lazy......If you enjoy the images I've succeeded in my attempts......

@ Tartan...Thanks man just trying to work quickly with very limited amount of time at the computer......and that mat on the raptor was a macrea made shader. I wind up getting addicted to making shaders instead of modeling...

Great last one, I love these. !!!
And your thread is rated as *4 now. Welcome to the club. I'll find this user, rating without comments here and there. A typical Zbrush-users behavior. I bet he's-she's rating with *1 always. Just to punish everyone is out of the regular, predictable zbrushing. Leading pixologic to even more predictable upgrades.

I'm still in 4. I started with a 2. So what do you mean giving? Not my experience. As we don't have top or bottom rows, why not stopping this ratting too. Ratting without comments I mean. Really unfair and not helpful.

Hmmm...I must be a little slow on the uptake......I never considered the # of stars to be a claim for fame or something like that ......Am just happy to have people critique / comment on my stuff and have a conversation now and then.... @ michalis ...Thanks, I like my little red dragon too.....
