    Default New to 3D Modeling

I just got started with Sculptris and I wante to share my models with the community. I do a bit of 2D drawing and animation, but 3D is a whole new game to me. I tried Blender in the past, but found it too complicated. Sculptris is right up my alley, since I work with clay as a hobby. I'm uploading my doberman and wolf models, as well as som shots of my painted dobie. Enjoy!

Default And here's the wolf and the dobie painted...

Hi again, here's some screens of the wolf I made, and the painted dobie. It seems the center of the model is hard to manipulate since it is near the symmetry line, so the hair on the back ridge didn't come out the way I wanted. Oh well. Hope you like them.

I know green is not a natural eyecolor, but IT'S SO COOL! Also, painted the footpads.

    Default New to Sculptris

Hello, I'm new to sculptris but not to 3d modeling, been doing it as a hobbie for almost 10 years now. While I wouldn't consider myself an expert I'd rather let my work for me. Now a days at least for me is hard to get inspired to do stuff since I love horror more than any other genre and there's very little out there that's original and it's tough to think about new stuff. Anywho, here's what I'm modeling, partially it's inspired by the final creature from the 80's movie, "The Gate", which is about 2 kids who unwittingly summon demonic forces to the world thru spellcasting and demonic rituals. I recommend it, if anything to see a very young Stephen Dorrf (Blade the movie, played chief vampire). Anyways, looking forward to hearing from people here and for any new versions of sculptris.

Default Sculptris "Too Good & I can't believe it's free!!"

My first attempt using Sculptris or any other 3d software, I know it's still kind of rough and the hands and feet need a little work but I'm new to 3d sculpting so bare with me. I created a base mesh (a male & female version) that I used for the Wolverine piece I hope that someone could put them to good use. I sculpted the Wolverine in Sculptris and exprted it to Zbrush to see the comparison
