Default New to sculpting and Sculptris!

Hey all, new to digital sculpting - been doing box/polygon modeling (Cinema 4D) for years now though. Saw a video about Sculptris and I thought I would try it out.

Anyways, here is my first sculpture so far. If you have any feedback, it would be much appreciated as I'm sure I have plenty more to learn!

    Thanks

Try moving the upper mouth part a bit more forward. Right now he looks like he's missing the entire upper mouth bone structure.

    I like the eyes.

    Default That's a great start!

I like the cheekbones. If you study a few guidelines on proportion I'm sure it will make life easier for you. The idea that there is an eye width between each eye and either side of them is a rough but useful one. It will prevent making the head too wide. The bottom of the bottom lip tends to be half way between the nose and the chin. In profile, the nose is one eye's width in length at it's base. There are many simple but useful proportion rations which will ease things.
I hope you continue with this head as I'd like to see its development.
