Onto the Bandwagon
Ok I don't want to get left out, so here is a repeat of my first semi complete Sculptris Model from the original Sculptris forums, for the delight and amusement of all.
I'm not sure whether to go back and do more to it, or just start something new. It's not as if it takes long in Sculptris. It depends on how busy I get. I suppose it could benefit from a bit of bump/normal mapping.

Reason: convert image to thumbnail

Check your thumbnail link, it does not enlarge. :0

Sorry about that. I can't figure out how to make the thumbnail do anything other than just sit there, so I just placed the full size image in there.

Looks nice. Saw it over on Luxology forum.

Great work! Did you do it all in Sculptris, painting and everything?

its a nice sculpt. only thing, his ear bothers me. looks like its not back far enough, like its on his cheek. the top part...hmmm.

Infiniview: It is Sculptris apart from the eyeballs which were painted in photoshop because this was a quick test, and some adjustments to remove some shine from the chin.
Brianlife: you are right. The ears need to be rotated backwards about an inch. I did the model without using any photo reference, and it started as a doodle. Then I "cheated" and looked at an ear photo and a slightly weathered pakistani tribesman for the wrinkles.
The texture is very basic, with no bump or normal map, and since it is all geometry, it will be a simple matter to use the Grab Tool to move things like ears around. That of course highlights the only real shortcoming of Sculptris, in that you can't adjust a mesh while in Paint mode.
I did intend to add some hair and a beard, but have been a bit busy in the last week to do any more to it.
