Previous one is very good. Great anatomy and interesting design. Maybe you could paint it.

Really like the alien design. He reminds me of the classic Roswell grey/green alien, only more believable.

Thanks guys. I was hoping to finish both of those. Been a bit busy lately with some 2d animation stuff so I haven't had much spare time to have fun with Sculptris.

Thought I'd try something a bit different tonight. I was wondering how much of a pain it might be to try and create a 3d face from a wanted poster. Not as much fun as I thought it would be... Didn't come out all that great, but it was interesting to try out.

And another alien head. Could use a lot more, but I'd rather move on to the next one for now.

He needed some color before I moved on. I think I should have added some kind of color/design on the crest area though.

Edit: Added in a small bit, and tweaked the contrast in PS as well.

It didn't seem to want to add in the new file when I edited the last post, so I figured I'd just add in a new post with the new stripes on the back of the head.

Awesome! Stripes defiantly feel right. One crit, i think the crevasses of his scull could use some more color or some kind, even just a hint, for contrast.

I think you are right F i L. Although I think that area could probably use a lot more sculpting as well. I will have to go back into that one to see what I can do. If I sculpt it some more it will give me some more practice painting him again too.

Here's a couple sketches from yesterday. Neither really seemed worth finishing.

And I started a sketch tonight. The head was starting to resemble Leonard Nimoy, so I tried to find some reference pics to see if I could try to take it a bit further. Quite a lot of tweaks later, and he's slowly starting to look like him a bit. Still under 50k tris, so I still have a lot of room left for detailing and the hair.

Been a few days since I had a chance to open up sculptris again. Decided to go back into this alien to give him the start to his upper body.

Thanks sculptrisnewb. As usual though, I never really know what will come out from the next sphere.. And still haven't found another program that is this much fun to use. Where's all of your new sculpts. Haven't seen you around for a while.

Another new sculpt to start on. Some kind of strange mutant bipedal rat.
