Yeah that is annoying, but I dont think XSI will see the next year out, so that's probably why the developers are not in a rush.

As a Lightwave user i see this as a time to make a change. Alot of the other ones not there...makes the jump to MODO for me all the better. And Maya is my next to learn for work purposes. Still...as a PC user...cant wait to even use GoZ at all!!

really looking forward to this release. I wonder how many divisions of geometry zbrush will be able to handle when it goes 64bit and can utilize more than 3gb of ram?

Great news! We'll see if i will have to switch my pipeline to another software or keep it with Z. I love Z, but 3.5 gave me lots of hadeake (ZProject not working) and much worse final results due to bad normal and displacement maps.

    I hope we'll get:

    • ZMapper's way to bake normal maps
    • Working ZProject brush with handy stencils
    • 64bit support
    • ...everything working that worked well before.

I am very pleased about the new Version
Just today I am fighting with our beloved ZBrush and I can do not cease.
It is so great and unique in the opportunities, that I probably will always live with it.
Im looking forward and waiting patiently. Mainly, it is still as good or better yet

Well from what I can tell it will be around longer than that...they are hiring additional devs for soft as we speak And it is exceeding sales expectaions.
