Hi Ronald, I think I am wasting my time coming back. Abstractions just dont seem to cut it here! All the best, David

Hallo David!
The classic form of a forum is dying out. But this is not only here that.
This is a consequence of the mass of "art", which is produced every day.
This becomes more and more confusing. Games, trading, collectable, advertising, fine art.
Everything that makes up a market economy ....and art.
We sink into images flooding.
But: You are wasting your time not!See it as a possibility to show your art! No more and no less! Be glad if there is sometimes a reaction.
And when your art has something to do with Zbrush, then you are right here!
Abstraction is the salt in the soup! Without this spice, not taste anything else also.

Ronald thanks to being able to walk backward through your user gallery I can always keep up with your output :-)
You are quits some Force yourself good Sir.
To my eye there seems to be a little tension at present in the sweep of your character's zygomatic arch as it passes the boundaries of zygomatic process.
The way the light hits that top plane of the zygomatic arch all that good jazz.
A profile shot of Audrey Hepburn should suffice in explaining what I mean or if you want to go really really soft - a sculpture by Antonio Canova.
Boozy

Dear Mark! I'm absolutely agree with you!
Big thanks for your help!
Yes, there is still much to do, but that's the exciting part!

......updating.......
Now I have the final picture already in the head.
(The balance of force means to me: Either a sith and jedi, which are friends. Perhaps man and woman?
or a person (Rey?), which perfectly knows both sides and this dominated and thus keeps the balance.)

Hey TM, love your thread! You always make interesting artwork!
This one is pretty cool with nice story telling composition.
Some food for thought about Star Wars stuff. I have read every star wars Cannon book and many of the of the E.U.s (I audiobook them while I sculpt, just finished "Bloodlines").
SW is super secular upon examination, but most memorable "Hero's Journey" tales are just that. So... some food for your imagination as your project has fed mine:
- Palming the beam of a lightsaber is like the holiest of the holiest action a Force wielder can do. For a Jedi, it means you have full confidence in the force to point of never questioning its existence and purpose. The Jedi would create force barrier around the beam and palm the tip or grasp it. Your image shows another potential way; to bind the beam in force lightning... very interesting and innovative.
- It has only been depicted in two instances I can think of: (1) An episode of "Clone Wars" where Ana, Asa, and Obi get captured by the celestials, an ancient force wielding people long thought extinct. The father of these two siblings (Ashla and Bogan) stops Ana's lightsaber from piercing him, with his bare hands. The three Celestrials are basically force related Gods. (2) In E.U. videogames, this awesome female Jedi (i forget her name) does the same thing in a great cutscene when Darth Malagus tries to finish her.
- Its like the ultimate final test for Kendo supreme mastery... stop an extremely sharp blade with your hands while your palms are in tact.
- Sith bloodshot eyes... this is tough cause SW is wishy washy on when they occur. It seems to occur when a Force wielder is overcome by intense emotion, but at the same time Maul just owned them regardless of state of mind. Ana got them when he started losing sleep and tripping over Pandme, intensifying them with the sacking of his own temple. Palp got bad blood eye when he electrocuted himself with pure hatred. Yet... at the same time, Ren commits the unthinkable while emotionally conflicted... and his eyes remain watery clear. So they have Darkside association for sure, but symptoms and causes are up in the air.
- Rey has the pedigree of a classical Sith lord or Knight of Ren, left to survive ALONE on an unforgiving world, with what looks like the worst example of a father possible (Plutt). She is literally at home (comfortably) with war relics. Not only does she suffer from strong attachment, murderous anger (check out the TFA novel, Rey and Ren's interrogation scene is more elaborate, also check out the scene where she is in the forest after discovering the lightsaber at MK's, why did she kill that guy that was just standing there? Especially right after learning Finn was a stormtrooper? Rey Shot First!). Whats worse for the good guys is that Rey kicked the lord of the Knights of Ren's booty only after just learning the force is real. Awesome to see your depiction of that potential!
- Balancing the force: I fully agree with what you have stated prior, which is a very interesting outlook. I see the only way to balance it, is a return to the (E.U.'s) Jed'ai Order. This order is described in the book "Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi", where the Force wielders practice both light and dark abilities and are instructed to not stray too far in either direction. This was before the 1000 year war and banishment of the Dark Jedi that later formed the Sith. Essentially they are the Galaxies political police force, that work to solve major problems while possessing attributes that align with Scientific institutions. They can love and have kids, go on important missions, learn about manipulating life itself, protect important people or causes, and manipulate politics. The line crossed into pure evil in the novel was the pursuit of Galactic scale super weapons.
Love the your piece! It inspires me!
I cant wait to see what you make next.

Wow!
Thank you for your comprehensive answer! And that is exactly my intention! Having an idea. Develop a story. And this show in an own image.
Many thanks for your interesting ideas!
Star Wars is awesome. Just as Tolkien's world. (And many others) It creates new universes, just within our heads.
As in the works of Dan Simmons as "Ilium" and "Olympos" I think: Everything we create in our head, that will real in a parallel universe. I love this idea!
The three episodes of Star Wars The Clone Wars, which play on Mortis, I studied very closely. Similarly, the episodes in which Yoda is sent from the power spirit of Qui-Gon Jinn on a journey.
These are very fundamental actions which have been edited directly from George Lucas.
My idea for this picture was the following: The balancing of Force has nothing to do with the quantity of followers. The fundamental battle between good and evil is endless. This is applied in every human being.
Only when a human being can master both sides and inner peace comes to the benefit of the community, then it is completely with the Force. Such a human being could no longer be deceived by a sith, without realizing it.
I am convinced that actually characters like Count Dooku and Qui-Gon Jinn on the right track were. They have failed because they thought too narrow-minded.
Luke Skywalker has been looking the first Jedi Temple. The source of Force, the origin. Direct connection to the force / midi-chlorians.
Perhaps it is managed with the help of midi chlorianer to let Anakin rise reflected in Rey.
The Chosen One. First jedi, then sith. And then the first Sith, which turns away from the evil side. Now a Force wielder with the knowledge of both sides.
If the force awakens in a twenty-year girl, then that's too large to implement it immediately. With the slowly growing of the knowledge of the life before.
First run away from it. Not again! But you can not escape the fate! And then the decisiveness to fight again to bring everything into the pure.
It is his lightsaber! He can fly all! He can fix everything! He can talk to each robot. And wookies. What he wants is in front of him, not in the past! He can come back! And Kylo Ren can never be as strong as he, Darth Vader!
This is my own opinion as a fan.
But no matter how. It is a beautiful fairy tale about good and evil in the world. I'll take the story any kind of further guidance grateful.
It is the story of George Lucas and Disney.
If we want another story, then we have to write them yourself.
Ciao,
TM
P.S.Rey had already an encounter with stormtrooper on Jakku.....why did she kill that guy that was just standing there?
And these have shot immediately!

You have great concept but you should try to define the anatomy likeness of the actress.
Currently, for me, the face is scary and bumpy and doesn't do justice to your great environment concept
