I"m happy you guys like this one. I've spent a bit of time on it.
I think I am done modeling and texturing him for the moment, going to start working on his space suit or maybe another character, I now see some problems with my topology that I'll fix on my next model.
The hair for this guy is all modeled, mostly because currently I'm not sure if the animation he is going to be used for is going to be done in Maya or Max.
His mustache and eyebrows were modeled in Maya and I used Zbrush's Fibermesh for the hair on top of his head... I need to adjust a few settings because it looks more like straw than hair for closeups. I'll try and post the turntable this weekend.

lol That`s chun liu!! he`s getting popular these days, i just sculpted him last week, but didn`t finish him DX Your render looks awsome, the only thing that don`t feel quite right are the proportions, his head is extremely big, and the hands too. you achieved a really nice realism with the shaders and textures but the head size make him look a little bit cartoony. He looks younger than the reference also, but maybe that was the idea, so despite the proportions issue you did a great work here man

You're right f roldan, I think I was looking at it for too long while I was working on him and messed up the proportions at some point. Thanks for pointing that out, I'm going to work on fixing that today so I can get some new renders out tomorrow...guess I need to re-render the turntable :S
