    Default The Mercenary

Hey guys, long time no posting here.
This is a Rael Lyra concept called "Viking". I just have changed its name cuz i think he looks more like a Mercenary on my 3D version.
I did this character for study. Its the first time i take a character till the end, with textures and final render.
All the base meshes done in 3dsMax, textures in Zbrush and Photoshop.
I tried to keep its sculpture look and style, with something of realism.
Took me about 2 weeks to complete.

Wow, this is really neat. I really like the cape texture and realistic feel. How did you do the facial hair?

Thats a great render. Was that taken from zbrush or did you take the model out to another program?

    Really good work my friend.

I agree with Greg about the boots and I didnŽt like the eyes, i think you can do a better work there with the textures. But very nice character man !

Very nice stylization - almost looks like you had it 3d printed.

    Nice concept !
You should study a bit the anatomy of ears and eyes...the portrait could be very interesting if worked as it should.
    Overall is promising though.Keep going.
