A little bit more work on this guy, just wanna make a little Mental Ray scene with him before I continue with the green creature scene. Detail his pants, give him a gun or something and place him on a mountaintop.

Did 3 busts yesterday. The third was an attempt to sculpt a female, but for some reason getting the female look isnt easy. ATM it looks like a boy ( huge eyes ). The last one was a bust i did a week ago, practicing likeness. Didnt go that well, but he is supposed to be a famous "csi".

And there is the finished "lowres" of the latest alien, in 3D, if you know how to cross-view images. Will do a render of him in a proper pose someday.

Definently great work on the 4 head busts, you are totally right, female is way harder to sculpt than men!
Keep it going, will definently look at your progress mate!
    Cheers and happy sculpting,
    - Kenny :-)

    Default Face....

Just a new face i've been working on, havent had much time for ZBrush lately or 3D at all. Overall I feel this sculpt is an improvement over my other faces. ( gonna spend a little bit more time and give him an expression and eyebrows )

Rendered with BPR, composed in photoshop. ( and a cross-viewed 3D for closer look :P )

    Default A few sculpts/sketches/wips

Long time since I've posted a new post, been lurking around here tho ^_^

I havent had time for much ZBrush the last year, I've been doing a few sketches and stuff.
Atm i've actually gotten back to my pink guy with a ball. ( 2-3 posts above )
Trying to finish the animation now, i thought i lost all the files, but thank god for a forgotten backup ^_^

A couple of sketches and ideasI've been working on, a huge creature, the infamous oven ( partly 3dmax, partly zbrush ), a something, a duck i started designing after getting a description from my girlfriend, but I still dont understand exactly what she wants, so it's WIP and probably it'll change form, and last a tall man, anatomy study far from completed:

    Default Swarmfall Update v1

I've been stuck at film school for the last year, I tried to get into ZBrush again last year with the halloween challenge. But I never got the time to complete.

Anyway, this time I have. In February we're going to show something we've made, a project, anything that got to do movies etc.
I figured it was a good time to get deep into ZBrush again, do some sculpting and actually make something out of it.
So my idea was to track a 3D character into real footage.

The basic idea is an alien from outer space that get lost on Earth. He believes the earth people are trying to help him find a way home.
But in reality they're doing something completely different, Project Swarmfall. We'll see some flashbacks of entering the earth,
then a couple of shots where he walks down the street and do some poses.

And the rest will be headshots, interview style, where he speaks in a foreign language.
Since this is the project i pitched for the class, it's no going back, just hard work.

I'll try to "spam" as much updates I can, probably each night. This weeks goal. Get the spacesuit and polypainting done.

The spacesuit so far (front/back, two crossviewed 3d to show the shape if you're able to do the crossing of your eyes):

Update 3, not too much, playing with hard surfaces. Testing color themes, not sure where I want to go yet. But his skin will be bluegreenbrowngreyish.
