Optimizing combined objects

I have created a ZTool from multiple OBJs using the 3D PolyMesh tool and want to reduce the number of polygons, but I don’t see the Optimize option under Tool: Modifiers. Is there another way to reduce polygons? The size of my ZTool is 17.7MB, and I would really like to cut down the size if possible. Thanks.

Hi CDEdwards,

Optimize is at the bottom of the Tools;Modifiers;Deformation Palette.

If you cannot see the bottom of your Palette, here is an FAQ that should help.

That doesn’t help me out ZuZu. Looks like the PolyMesh 3D actually does not even have an Optimize button. So when I save my ZTool and reload it, it does not have Optimize either. :frowning:

Currently, only ZTL 3D objects (native ZBrush 3D tool) can be optimized; The capability to optimize PolyMesh3D is planned for future releases.

Do you have any suggestions for a work around method?

when I drag it around the screen it makes my computer chug.
