    Default Mirabelle's queen

Here at Metz, we have each year a new queen. like in every country i suppose, the most beautiful girl of the place, "la reine de la mirabelle". as i thought she was a good example of some beauty, i made a character, rigged and rendered in Blender. enjoy!

some games with the new freedom of dynamesh, curves, etc.... (really enjoying cylinder curve for fingers!!)
for the dragon, i tried to make a low poly with a copy dynameshed, then projected...might work!
and also, a bust of Gandalf. hope you'll like those!

I just went through your sketchbook one more time...Great journy...really enjoyed it..
Nice job on those hands posted above...and the other sculpts also of course...Thanks for the tip on using the cylinder curve brush for the fingers,..I have yet to try it out, but will now that I have seen how well it worked for those hands posted above.
Drawing Dynamic Hands by Burne Hogarth...not to expensive, can be bought on the internet... an invaluble resorce, and a wealth of vital information and demontrations within it's covers...Just thought I would mention it, just in case you weren't aware of it...One of my favorite and most valued books left behind by him...A Real Treasure..
    Keep Inspired and Inspiring..

    Mature Audiences

oh many thanks Spirit and Fenrir!!!
Spirit, thank you for this book's name, i might be very intersted.
I follow my ZB4R2 discovering. an other tip if you mind: i really enjoy the cylinder curve brush, as we can create and modify a big cylinder, and at every moment still we are in curve mode, create by clicking with a thinner cursor, create very thin cylinders. i tested on this Gandalf hair, and as it is 5mn test, i'm like impressed!!

i also post it's stupid, i know!!) one of my last version of my Mirabelle's queen, just to test the new button MA!!

Xada ...Nice technique for the hair using that cylinder curve brush..Makes a nice contrast and compliment to the beard hair..variety in the hair texture and flow is working Great for him..
Thanks for sharing that also....Another trick in the old bag of tools..
Like that soft atmoshereic look in the butterfly winged woman also..enhances the sense of motion..

    Hey, thanks Spirit, as usual!
here a Dynamesh test, following the lines created to find a model.
He makes me think to our french Senators! rarely young, somehow following themeselves, and not known for thier happyness!

I everyone! Zbrush has so much changed since my last post here...and i had so few time to practice.
here is an old work based on a photo scan model from le jardin des Tuileries in Paris. i had to re-model every thing, as Dynamesh was not born at this time!

    Nice one, like it.
Have you tried merging the pottery and decoration with Dynamesh?. It's a bit glued on, which still looks nice but my personal favor goes for a small transition between the pottery with both flower deco and the baroque leaves. I like the serene render too, are you planning to fill it with "real" leaves and flowers, that would look really nice.
