Thanks 3xtigy, SD.
Not experiments, just my nightmares.
Unable to produce beauty, just experiencing some kind of peace on shapes, curves, lines, scale, on my nightmares mostly. This only I can do. Not a talented man for sure.

The last few images are really nice!

Thank you yusefkerr.
Still trying to figure out what's happening with fibers/UVs. On the tip area is there a UV problem?
Visible on the last image I posted. Here, an export to blender/cycles, to demonstrate the problem.

I let go of the rope once, but now, I am climbing like a monkey.
Thanks Arran J Lewis,
But have a closer look on the tips. I opened these fibers UVs on an editor and the tip area is wrong placed/unfolded. Quite unpractical and difficult to edit them.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a limitation. Pity, because we can apply some textures as bumps and have impressive results easily.
just wondering, why you want to use uv's with fibremesh?...
i would suggest to create such tentacle-things mainly with the tube-brushes...
anyway, nice test!![]()

Thanks wethand.
As you mentioned, just testing and having some fun. Most importantly, testing the export possibilities to other apps.
Why UVs? Noticed the simple texture bump? All this took 5 mins only. And after all, it's these fantastic fiber brushes that impressed me.
Having some fun with fibers, lot of fun I could say. A BPR.

But... I'm a painter LOL, years and years with my watercolors, studying such subjects.
I have two masters guiding me here. Dürer and Andrew Wyeth. And these dry mediterranean themes. The use of Raw Umber / sienna and terre verte. No much blue, it's not the sky, is the air what's interests me.
