    Post newbie Q's:

    Hey folks,
New to Zbrush and love it! I coiuld use some help though. Thanks.

    - How do I juggle multiple parts of my model at one time? So far I've been creating individual pieces and saving them as tools so I can bring them back in to a main doc for assembly. I know this can't be the way.
    - I've been reading the boards trying to learn more about this app. Why are users building in other apps, like Lightwave, and importing them into ZB? Why not create the whole in ZB?

    Thanks again,
    Dooki

    hi dooki,

welcome to zbrush. what you want to do is using the multimarker. place your tool on the canvas, press mark (in the transform palette) or just m. then the next tool, press m and so on. when finished choose the multimarker tool from the tools and clear canvas, and draw it. now you can edit, rotate... also you can make a polymesh from it if you wish.
here andhere are some good related tips.

Actually for some sceans it's faster to just forget markers and do just like you said. I usually sart with a rough layout built in another program. Then I import that rough model as a guide for where to place objects.

    Thanks for the help!
There is a lot to learn with this app. I missed the info on multi marker in the manual. I tired and it works.
    Thanks again!
