Thankyou guys at Pixologic for your hard work, very, very good results im getting. Whats realy cool is I can rotate, scale and move islands of Uvs just how I want, and even smooth a few areas down here and there.

Ohh, works fine here on Windows 7 64x, installed and worked first time.

This is truly an exceptional achievement. Thank you very much for releasing this plugin.

i was hoping for something like this. Your algorithm is very very good for "just" a one click solution.

Just wondering, the UVMasterData_1.0 folder that you copied contains UVMasterDLL.dll correct?

Aside from that the only other thing I can think of is perhaps zbrush didn't close correctly (if you had it open beforehand) and there is a zbrush process still open in task manager. Though this doesn't seem all that likely...
Well I did all that as was suggested and amazing as it might seem I have used a computer before as well as made toast. I have installed countless plug-ins for countless programs and I followed the instructions like the good boy that I am , I use ZBrush3.5 R3 and it does not work for me...I closed, opened, rebooted, had a beer, cursed, smoked a cig and nada...

Ya no kidding and I own a license of UV Layout Pro.
ZBrush has simply provided it's users with yet another useful tool. Oh by the way it is only V1. Who knows where it might go from here?
Stupid comments by narrow minded people is what I chalk that kind of thing up to.

So I had to try a few tests with this new plugin. I tested a raptor I box modeled in Cinema 4D and now doing some sculpting on in Zbrush. Originally I uv'ed him in Bodypaint and got an ok uv map but it was a huge pain and very time consuming. It was my first time attempting to uv a model but still it wasn't fun.

    Onto the new Zbrush Plugin.

I got a decent map under 5 minutes! After playing around a bit more I got a better map seam wise and it exported into Cinema 4D just fine!

    Here are some grabs.

    Thank you Zbrush!

Is everyone in agreement that Layers for Textures is the number one requested feature? Sure seems like it. And for good reason.

Export your UV'd mesh from Z Brush as an OBJ

Import that obj into your animation program.

From there you can grab a UV snapshot to bring into Photoshop and use as a map for texturing.

Looks good Josh, but is it just the angle or is there a lot of stretching in the nose area. Just curious?

More important to me (or should I say just as important!!) would be the ability to import Subtools without having to make the imported mesh a tool first and then append it. Its a real pain in the arse.

3DCoat allows you to import other meshes into different layers but you don't have to save as a tool and append etc.
