I'm a 3rd year college student, focusing mostly on concept art and character animation. these are my first succesful attempt at doing something besides messing around in zbrush.
the frog is a mental ray render in maya, with a disp. and a normal map, the color map is all polypaint with a cavity map overlaid on top. I'm hoping to get him rigged and do some animations with him. (i'm currently a character animation intern at disney interactive)
the environment is a simple low poly environment, comprised of a few tilable textures, and normals created in zbrush. the render is a real-time maya hardware render, with ambient occlusion baked into vertex lighting.
