I love your forms and detail! Its like the most life-like exaggerated character I have seen. I feel your work represents high caliber traditional drawing. I can't begin to explain how much I enjoy your work. I would be very interested in watching a time lapse of your next work.

Huge fan! I am bookmarking this.

Once again so lovely work on those kids and their expressions, but can I ask please, how do you go about shading and rendering them with that nice clay render look and lighting?

    Cheers

Thank you for your nice comments!

Aberrant - Thanks a lot I'm planning on capturing the next one, i hop i can find time for that soon.

Darukin - Sorry for the late answer, but since i got a little bit of help with those renders, i had to ask dan about the details. The material is just a simple blinn, with a bit of reflection blur. For the lighting A hdri was used with the color gain down to about 1/3rd, and 2 directional lights to match up the hdri. Also for reflective light a bright plane was put in front of her, which only illuminates a bit. Also a background plane, which is just background color. The shadows are raytrace shadows, nothing special about those, and finally the GI and FG settings are almost kept the default, for the FG point density was 2, and point interpolation 15. I'm not a render pro, I'm sure it could have been done better, but till i can lay my hands on some good tutorials about portrait lighting, i think it has to do it for now

    Thanks again everyone !

    Default Excellent

It seems like some of the best sculpts are those that look like real sculptures. These are so cool.

    I love the sculpted eyes!
ITS is a possessive pronoun its color, its shape, its size
IT'S is a contraction of the words IT and IS It's nice = it is nice, It's fun = it is fun

YOUR is a possessive pronoun Your face, your car, your thoughts
YOU'RE is a contraction of the words YOU and ARE you're wrong = you are wrong, you're nice = you are nice

Usually when you type IT'S, you really mean ITS
and when you type YOUR, you really mean YOU'RE.
