Default Alien Bug WIP (critiques and advice extremely welcome)

    Hello all,

I’ve been fooling around with Zbrush for a few months now, and have finally decided to focus in on making my first portfolio quality piece.

Right now it’s just a head, but I’m planning to start on a body for it soon.

Any advice, criticisms, tips, etc. are extremely welcome.

For a first post, I think your creativity is heading in a good direction. As far as sculpting goes, try working on smoothing back a lot of the "lumpiness" of the piece. Work big to small. Form first, major features, skin and muscle layout, then skin texturing. Looking forward to seeing how you progress with this!
