Salvation: Thanks for the suggestions...I agree. Made some changes...beefed up his legs a bit as well as his back.

dustinbrown: Fattened up! I'll work more on posture and pose once I'm closer to finishing the sculpt...I'm gonna do a sculpted final pose as well as use him in a short animation...

Tallooriravi: I gave him some bigger legs..hope you like!

Lots of changes...Thanks guys for the input! His legs are maybe still on the small side but if you look at a rhino, his legs are quite small in comparison to the body...just trying to retain some of the animal-ness in the character but don't want it to be cartoonish either.

Still some low freq sculpting to do before I move on to fine detailing...just wanted to throw up the new changes and see if I get any feedback so, crits away!!

    Thanks!

He's looking very tough! Perhaps giving his spine a tiny curve would make him more balanced. But overall very cool.

Good start. His back looks a little stretched and maybe his waist should be pulled up more.

Well, after a bit of a motherboard crisis, I'm back at it!!

Slow day at work so here's a sketch I did this afternoon. I call him Constipated Goblin.

Here's an old one I dusted off and am pretty much done with modeling. May tweak the pose a bit but next up, polypaint and textures...woot!

You have a nice, clean sculpting style.

Well, I saw something I liked in the red head above so I started to rework it....
I've been meaning to create Roland of Gilead since I started doing 3D and it seems as this is my start.
I think at this point I.m gonna go back and retopo before I continue sculpting.
I started to create his guns many years ago (HERE: http://rynomyte.cgsociety.org/gallery/303754/ ) and hopefully the whole project is close to completion now that I've actually started Roland himself...

A little more work on Roland's head. I would love to hear any thoughts on him in general but especially from anyone who may know the character...would love to hear others takes on my vision.
Still lots to do around the eyes....and ignore the teeth for now...
    Thanks for looking!!

oh, also, I retopo-ed him last night but I cant get 'Project All' to work right. I've never had this problem before...any suggestions? Thanks!

seems his ears are huge (and too high up) and his eye-socket size could be
taken in a bit (to give a closer ratio to 5 eyes wide, ear-to-ear) or widen the
bone structure a bit between ear attach to edge of outer eyelid.

looks like you're getting a bit of Lee Marvin toughness there, but as of yet he
seems a bit too skinny/weasel-ly looking for the hero he is (although he never
    thought of himself as 'pretty').

will be interested to see where you go with him next.

(Hope you don't mind the paintover)
