Default Anatomical foot model (including .ztl)

    Hi everyone,

This is a project that's been on the go in some form or other for quite a while. It started as a zbrush sketch I did in my spare time, and then I did the ecorce at work, as a pitch for a project which never came to fruition.
Since then it's just of sat around doing nothing, so I thought I'd let it see the light of day with a render.

Everything except the veins (which started life as nurbs) and the render was done in zbrush.

I've uploaded the .ztl tool aswell, which you can get here. I find the foot such a mind numbingly complex part of the body to get my head round, so hopefully that might help some other people get to grips with it a bit. Technically property of 3DFramework though, so don't use it for commercial work. And don't put it on your reel either

The foot itself was a study from a cast that I have. I'm guessing from a greek or roman sculpture, but if anyone recognises it, please let me know, I'd love to know where it came from.

I can't guarantee the accuracy of the underlying anatomy (the veins for example, I found were represented quite differently in different anatomy books, so I winged it a bit), or that I've made the correct interpretation of what is causing each of the surface bumps and details. So bear that in mind, and don't use it as a guide if you're a doctor

Happy New Year everyone, hope you have a good and productive one.

If you like your feet big and detailed, then full size image (about 4k) is here

Incredible work! I agree about the foot being hard to understand. I'm looking forward to playing with the ztl.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Wasn't sure how interested anyone would be in a foot

Joel - I'm a fan dude, and I know a fellow anatomy geek when I see one! Let me know if you see anything off with it.

I did an animated overlay so that I have something for my reel, and now that I've done it, it actually seems a much clearer way of presenting it than the still image, so here you go -

Wow! This is great! Great presentation and sculpt! Ultimate thank you for sharing the .ztl! from me!
When I saw the images, the first sculpt that came to mind was the Disc Thrower Practise(See attach) but alas... you sculpted a right foot... .
