i must say that you really did a good job with the head. You really improve each picture. Its great that you dont give up. The suit looks nice, are you going to do everything in zbrush, i mean with the suit?

Thanks. Yeh, everything will be Zbrush, as the intention is for it to be printed.

Just learning as I go about sub-tools. Made the hand a subtool so that it's easier to scultp the sleeve, and made a subtool for the piping on the suit.

Anyone know how I can clone/mirror the hand. When I try to do it the normal way it says I can't do it with multiple levels, but I don't want to lose them. Hand.jpg

You can either get subtool master pluging and click on mirror, or delete the lower subdivisions and go on deformation and mirror it, then you can reconstrct the lower subdivisions, on the Reconstruct Subdivisions option under geometrymenu if Im not mistaken..

Been tweaking things tonight. Tried to improve the hands, been trying to tighten up the suit, and having a go at how to do the hair. Hand.jpg

    Nice improvement Gordon,

The nails are a bit too flat, if you change this it will look more interesting,
The hand is one of the most interesting anatomies in the human,

    Keep them comming
    Cheers

Looking at my fingers, you're right. I'll get that sorted before moving on for sure.

    Thanks.

Tried a few different ways to try to sculpt the pads well. Eventually settled on painting them and using 'create polygroups from polypaint' option. That allowed me to sculpt them masked out from the rest. Happy with the result. still to do hair, shoes etc. but happy with how it is progressing. Full.jpg

No problem with being recognizable now Gordon.
This has really come along in the last few posts.

    Hey Gordon,
Nice improvement, congratulations, it is very recognisable
One nice tip is, click on the "soft RGB" on the render menu,
It will activate the antialiasing in the best render,
It helps a lot with the edges, i don't know how to say it in english
but helps the "stairs" looking edges, it blurs them,
    Cheers
