Thanks guys! Heres another render..
I tried to do more post-production but i really dont have the knowledge to see whats missing..

looking pretty cool. im in the same boat as you, needing other eyes to point stuff out on a comp. i do have one suggestion to tie the piece together a bit more. you may want to add a more intense light source to the top of the staff when rendering so theres more cool light hitting the character's right side.
