Etcher, do not know how you do it but you make the complex look real simple. You truly are an artist in the whole sense.
Thanks once again for showing you work flow. It opened my eyes to even more ideas.
Still working on my PaintStop addiction.
Would you know of a real good book or reference for human anatomy for artist? Prefer the female form.

Hey etch, great work with the zsphereII structure, you rock.

    Best regards mutte

Hey Etcher, heh heh heh -- you`re absolutely right. She likes it SO much.
But now I`m going to practice with the planar brushes. Need them for making some weapons.
Talk to you soon! Can`t wait to see your next update.

Renderdemon: thanks Guiseppe! I’m So glad u like! I’m looking forward to see what you’ll do with the new ZSpheres! Thanks for dropping me a line- so motivating !

Yfchild: thank you!!! Wow, new Andrew Jones… way to much credit man – I would love to be as good as he is… maybe some day! Many thanks for the kind words friend!

Burchigb: thanks for the great comment and kind words – so motivating! I’m glad the sheets are of some use to you. Quote:”Would you know of a real good book or reference for human anatomy for artist? Prefer the female form.”

These are the books I always seem to come back to

    Human anatomy by Gottfried Bammes:
“Die Gestallt des Menschen” ISBN 3-473-48378-8
“Studien zur Gestalt des Menschen” ISBN 3-363-00761-2
    “Menschen zeichnen” ISBN 3-363-00720-5
    “Arbeitsbuch zur Künstleranatomie” ISBN 3-473-48374-5
    Animal anatomy by Gottfried Bammes:
    “Grosse tieranatomie” ISBN 3-473-48366-4
“Studien zur Gestallt des Tieres” ISBN 3-473-48342-7

These books are only available in German (not a problem for me) but they are without a doubt the best references on constructive anatomy.

    Medical anatomy:

    Human Male V.3 – www.anatomytools.com

    CD-ROM “Sobotta – Atlas der Anatomie des Menschen” V. 3.0 R. Putz and R.Pabst ISBN 9789031130009

    Human and animal locomotion:

“The Human Figure in Motion” (E. Muybridge) ISBN 0-486-20204-6
“Human and Animal Locomotion Vol III” (E. Muybridge) ISBN 0-486-23794-X
“The Animator’s Survival Kit” (R. Williams) ISBN 0-571-20228-4

    HTH!

    (and don’t forget I warned you on that PaintStop thingy… should’ve listened… )

Yona: hey man, thank you! Yes, the new ZSpheres are very interesting! Quote:”” frustrating, maybe, but you’ll have fresh eyes and ideas when you get back to ZB and TTM! I’m already looking forward to the stream of updates! You know you can count on me to help you out with the new stuff (although I doubt it that you’ll need my help!). Regarding my house renovations: they are coming to an end (phew!)- but now my wife is bringing up that she would like a new bathroom too… ). Anyways, busy times at work, so, probably less time on ZB for me too!

Threetails: that’s great news Cam! I’m so looking forward to see how your initial tests will turn out. I’m experimenting with Adaptive Skins right now, as opposed to Unified Skins to get cleaner topo. I’ll post my findings tomorrow! This new stuff couldn’t have come at a better moment for us!

Mutte696: thanks Maarten! Thanks for the motivating comment! quote: “(translated) Geert, you really have too much spare time, impressive to see how you manage to find the time to make mini “making-offs”, and give your fellow sculptors a chance to get to know your techniques. I wish I had more time to make a decent wip, respect for your work man)". This thread is a personal journal of my ZBrush experiments. I really need to make these pages (I print them out too for later reference); if I don’t do this, I end up with a huge pile of files on a hard drive that’ll never see the light of day… that’s the simple and honest truth!

Calum5ZB: so many kind words! Thank you friend! I am glad these sheets are giving you a kickstart –thank you so much for letting me know! It takes a bit of time to let the new stuff sink in, but it’ll be very rewarding, I am really looking forward to see what you come up with!

moni-poroni: hah! I knew it! ! Hey girl, you made me curious with that stuff about weapons! Me wants to see! (I might pick up a few things; I still have to model Axl's weapons too!) So, the same goes for me: talk to you later, and can't wait to see your updates! !

Experimenting with adaptive skinning (instead of unified skinning)– hope to post the results tomorrow!

Etcher, you can explain sooo well and you have also fantastic sculpting and painting skills. There aren`t many people that can do both. You should become a Zbrush teacher!
