Adampof: thanks a lot! Hey man, I checked your thread, you’re making some great progress! Seems like you’re in the right place (=ZBC) at the right time (=age 15)– keep going!
Here are some books I use as a ref for anatomy:
(these are the books I always seem to come back to)

    Human anatomy by Gottfried Bammes:
“Die Gestallt des Menschen” ISBN 3-473-48378-8
“Studien zur Gestalt des Menschen” ISBN 3-363-00761-2
    “Menschen zeichnen” ISBN 3-363-00720-5
    “Arbeitsbuch zur Künstleranatomie” ISBN 3-473-48374-5
    Animal anatomy by Gottfried Bammes:
    “Grosse tieranatomie” ISBN 3-473-48366-4
“Studien zur Gestallt des Tieres” ISBN 3-473-48342-7

These books are only available in German (not a problem for me) but they are without a doubt the best references on constructive anatomy.

    Medical anatomy:

    Human Male V.3 – www.anatomytools.com

    CD-ROM “Sobotta – Atlas der Anatomie des Menschen” V. 3.0 R. Putz and R.Pabst ISBN 9789031130009

I noticed the “inspirations” thread you started, I think that’s a great initiative, I’ll post some stuff there in the weeks to come!

Moni-poroni: Thank you!!!!! Happy New Year friend !!!! Yeah, the holidaZe were cool (although the weather was a mixed bag… Föhn is not good for skiing…) I didn’t touch ZBrush… but I ordered a bucketload of books and DVD’s… some awe-inspiring stuff in there, I’ll post a full report of my findings in the weeks to come. Now, my brain has the size of a small weather balloon… there won’t be enough days in 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yona: Thank you!!!! Happy New Year friend !!!!! Yup, we should team up for a short-ski in the Alps someday…!

Hey there!! That`s a great new backtracker!! Very cool design!
If you accept my invitation on myspace you`re my first friend there!
I signed in a few weeks ago, but I didn`t have time to make a cool page like yours so far.
BUT... one of my goals for 2010 is making my own homepage. I already bought it.. erm.. or to be exact -- I hired it because it`s a only-as-long-as-you-pay-for-it-its-yours-homepage.
There`s just a placeholder at the moment.
Unfortunatley I put a bug in my own ear. I hate when that happens! That`s where the weather-balloon heads come from! Thousands of thousands of bugs!
I want to learn html, php and flash and everything else I need for making a cool homepage. Right now I don`t even know what I need to learn XD ...all I know is that I don`t want to use templates longer than necessary.

I agree with you -- there won`t be enough days in 2010!!!!!!!

moni-poroni: hey twice first friend - yup - changed the backtracker a bit to keep it in line with the layout of the YouTube & MySpace stuff, needless to say, I'm looking forward to see your homepage when it's up! Quote:" I want to learn html, php and flash and everything else I need for making a cool homepage" I know what you mean... I find this html stuff difficult, that's why I did the MySpace thing with templates I made in Photoshop (you can Google'em up, they're in my Flickr account). So, you got weather ballon head too... ... must be a sight to see... aaaargh the days are tickin' away... must start sculpting... .

Frenchy Pilou: Thank you Frenchy! I'm wishing you a great Z-year too ! Thanks for reminding me of Jean Dubuffet, now there's a great artist! And, indeed, the texture resemblance is striking ! Makes me want to see my creations printed out even more... nothing beats being able to walk around a sculpt, environment or installation... why are there so many ideas... and so little time... .Thanks for dropping by Frenchy, always a pleasure .

    Hey!
You find this html stuff difficult... oh ...ahem.. aaaaaaahh!! Don`t scare me!!!
You`re also on flickr?? Where aren`t you, hehe?
Yeah, time flies! I hope you`ve already started working on something.
I haven`t heard a *POOF*.. so I think you and your baloon head are alright!

Right now, I just finished polygrouping and fitting the Tenebrae's teeth so I can detail them tomorrow, I think I'm done for today (= turn off computer and ... continue reading 3 books on ZBrush I purhased ... ) .
