I love the work Salvador Dali too!
Nice one the last one. Seems a little challenge and ganging up on you does work wonders. And who knew that we have a Dolphin among us.

Hosch...No problem..my pleasure..what goes around comes around..![]()
I hope you get a chance to get those Burne Hogarth books I mentioned..Really will make your life and task alot easier..for the piece your on, and any you do in the future also.
Bas Mazur...Salvadore DALI..Yep, one of the greatest and most original of the Dream Catchers.and also a very very deep well of inspiration for me over the years.![]()
Lemonnado....Yep...I always come out swinging when backed into a wall..and never would have made it as a Dolphin, if I couldn't take the pressure..literally..LOL.![]()
Thanks for the push guys..Much appreceated and needed.![]()
Pushed this piece further...learning alot from it as I push....Using Z Brush, I used the old Da Vinci method of overlaying thin transparent color glazes/tints over certain standoutish sledge hammered elements to unify those elements in the piece, and to creat a greater sense of color harmony, unity and oneness....I don't want any Kings in this piece, ..just one Queen,.and she has her back to the viewer, checking out her realm..![]()
The bottom battle scene is just a quick little sketch that I made using Z SPHERE'S...I had planned on turing it into a painting, but never got around to it..![]()

I would say that you are unifying this piece well. Blending a painted element with standing sculptural pieces is giving it depth like a diorama. I feel like a am viewing her from down a corridor.
I REALLY like what is happening so far with the horse battle.
Very ghostly and painterly.
Thanks DirtRunner....I have always shied away from interiorscapes because I hated dealing with the perspective part of it, but with this new Z Brush program, it is much easier to deal with perspective...So I am just trying my hand at improving my perspective skill or lack of it by practicing at what I have been neglecting over the years..
I'm glad that that last one gave you the feelings that you described...means that I must be heading in the right direction with my studies and practices..In any case, I'm learning, which is what these experiments and explorations are all about..![]()
Another piece put together...Just something to learn from.

Just another fun piece done for my own pleasure.
I was thinking of the painting by Hieronymus Bosch..Ship of Fools.
His was a great concept painting....I was thinking I might try to take this concept further,..modernize it's timeless characters... but for the moment, at least I have gotten the initial thought for the composition in place.
Z Brush/Painter #10 Combo.

I like to touch base with reality in my art every once in awhile, if for no other reason than to remind myself why I dwell in fantasy with my art most of the time.
90 percent Z Brush / 10 percent Painter #10
Title of this piece that I did a couple of months ago, is..ENOUGH
