    Default Some cranium practise

Hey everybody... decided to do a new sketch today and practise how to do craniums, something that i desperately need to do more often...at this stage, the skull is in Dynamesh mode and I still need to fix it.
I have my anatomy books nearby but I STILL feel something is wrong... I would love your feedback and advice... thanks

Good start. The brow needs to extend beyond the cheek bone. Focus on the brow, to cheek bone area

Hey guys, a quick update on this character... still working on tweaking the head which is still in Dynamesh mode... I wanted to design the features of an African American male, particularly in the nose and jaw line... still much work to be done... once the head is done, I am going
to give the model another detail pass before I texture and unwrap it...

    Enjoy

Some updates on Blade... still inching my way to some good detail Almost got the head the way I want it... just need a few more tweaks before I go into the detail pass phase on the whole model and resurface it... C&C is welcome

Default Feeling kinda thrown off :/

Morning from Beantown... the more I work on this character, the more I am starting to think he is looking weird proportion wise... maybe someone here can point out what is going on with him. I am really about to do some proportion tweaks on him...
here is a render of him from ZBrish...

Stand up and look at your feet. No one's feet point straight forward like that. Feet point outward.

    Default John Blade UPDATE

Hey guys, just passing thru with an update on my new character... decided that he needed a few proportion tweaks especially in the leg area (the transpose tool is a very valuable asset for measuring proportions. Kinda wish this was a viewport option also)... I still need to add his gun
and other assets... I would love your feedback and suggestions for improving this model... I am not feeling the hands too much right now... and he will need a detail pass. Thank

    Default Some new progress

Hey everybody, finally getting back into the swing of things... and decided to get back to this guy... I am having some issues with the wrinkles on the pants and shirt... I feel they are REALLY off and hoping someone can give me the kick in the ass I need to correct it. Here is a capture of Blade nearly complete... just have to detail the arm attachment and give him more accessories. More to come... thanks

    Default Some new updates

Hey guys, just passing thru with some updates on this character... I have been redesigning the character to a more futuristic feel and gaining an understanding of folds and wrinkles. The old armour didn't work for me so I wanted a better
    appearance. Would love some feedback.

    Thanks.

    Default Some major updates

Hey everybody, it's been a while since I've posted anything... (enjoying the new features of ZBrush 4r4, QRemesher simply ROCKS!) been working on my bounty hunter model, both his primary and alternate models for my game.
Still trying to get enough detail on the bodies to allow me to get an excellent bake... For the Primary Model, I am kinda wanting to drop the flak jacket since the alternate model is wearing an armoured body suit, and I will be placing accesories
such as weapons and other props directly inside of Unity. I would love your feedback, and opinions to improve these models. And I am seriously considering removing the chest place off the primary model.
The secondary model is a still a work in progress...

Looks interesting, digg the tight body armour concept. As a critique, i kinda feel the cranial mass is too small (the proportion of the "face" to the "head"). Maybe also the head seems a bit small to the body, it might just be the perspective though.

Hey, I will definitely look at the head again... I thought I had a layer that tweaked the shape, and I have the perspective set to 60 in ZBrush...
