Raf that's really nice. Really feels like there is something under the skin. Froyd, that's great! It's impressive how much detail you've managed to achieve at such a low subdivision level. Really nice. And Spirit, it's really starting to come together...nice work. He seems very annoyed

At least it gave me an excuse to give him some eyes.

@SpiritDreamer: Thank you, mate... your's coming along quite nicely as well , the second one reminds me of Gary oldman's Dracula in his old form.
@3Point14, that cigar's cool.... chilling franky!
@froyd, cool head so far. and thank you for posting up the model as well.
@Rafael Hernandez, cool sculpt..

Gosh, everyone's moving right along - great entries so far.
Here's where I'm at with it currently, nothing too fresh or
original here (character study) but I have so little time for
personal work any more, it's nice of MTB to propose these
challenges where you can put as much or as little as your
time allows.

WoodyLWG, nice sculpt...I can tell right away it's the Willem Dafoe's famed face! Great work!

Thanks SolidSnakexxx...
I'm working strickly from my own imagination here, so if he resembles someone, I guess that's great..I don't know.LOL
I'm mostly just trying to figure out the workings of Z Brush..a ton of stuff that I don't know about in it yet, and haven't tried yet..but like I said earlier, i'm here to learn, and am doing so by studying alot of the fine works posted, tutorials, and classroom demo's....and also by participating in this challange..I just hope that i'm not posting too many images in here, if I am, somebody please let me know..I don't want to burn any bridges..
Woody LWG...Great start there..Amazing how you have captured the likeness at such an early stage..
Thought I would lighten up this characters emotion a little, I got tired of seeing that anger.

Hi Spirit...now I'm hardly an expert, but a tip that I picked up from ZBrush Character Creation: Advanced Digital Sculpting by Scott Spencer that seems to look great when poly painting is to paint all the warm and cold spots on your face first using red and blue respectively. Really go crazy with it, because you'll cover it up mostly with the skin tone later...what you'll end up with is something that looks clown like. Then add yellow to areas where the bones are close to the skin...then lay down your skin colourn with a low opacity and build it up.
Like I said, I'm a beginner as well so I'm not the best person to be taking advice from, but it sure does seem to do the trick. You can get fancy later with speckling and breaking up the consistency with white.
Good luck.
