base mesh made in modo, transferred via GoZ. Sculpted in ZBrush using Clay Buildup, Move Elastic Topology and Move Brushes. And sent back to modo for minor tweaks and geo updates.

This is from a week or two ago. She started as zspheres. Used Clay Buildup and Move Elastic primarily.

Finally took the plunge and picked up a tablet PC from a nice lady on eBay. I went for processor power and graphics acceleration but lost out on tablet buttons. So right now it's kinda bitter-sweet until i figure out how to map Alt, Shift, Ctrl and Spacebar to the seemingly non programmable bezel buttons in tablet mode.

Still, the small size and ability to draw right on the screen make it fantastically portable. Even while forced to use laptop mode I can imagine using it almost anywhere.

Here's my first go with it. This was originally going to be Michael and Janet's infamous father but as I fleshed it out a bit it started looking more like a classic mob boss (possibly even Yakuza).

Lemme know what you think... Fullscreen capture 30092010 024840.jpg Fullscreen capture 30092010 024932.jpg Fullscreen capture 30092010 025012.jpg

    Excellent! Congrats man

I love this new character sketch. Nice job that you made his base into a collar. He really feels organic and extensive.

    Default new doodles & such

Finally got around to doing some new stuff. Made a NY's resolution to do something creative and non work related everyday.

Hope you see something you like.

This one started as a sphere (I think) in 2brush. Exported to modo for rendering vin GoZ. Color, Roughness, Specs Reflect and SSS Amount maps all painted in Zbrush. UVs created w/ UV Master in Zbrush. Currently doing a modo retopo (which should fix the holes in the nostrils).

All Zbrush the front part of the hair started as Zspheres. Everything else started as a normal sphere.

Hair base mesh was made in modo. Everything else started as Zspheres and I made minor revisions in modo via GoZ. Posed with Transpose Master. Rendered in modo. The, "clear vinyl, "dress was just an experiment.
I'm a bit miffed on this one. I created special pleat geo for the bottom of the skirt and heels for her feet. Somehow I managed to forget to save the posed version! so I have to redo that.

A few doodles. Last one is my first live caricature sculpt session, based on a friend who came to visit.
