Well I've been sculpting but haven't had time to post. Here's some recent stuff... Trying to get my speed up and improve the quality of my sculpts. Every now and then something clicks. Gotta keep pushin'. Crits, comments, suggestions all welcome.

    Cheers!

    Oops.

Went back and overlayed my drawing over my sculpt and matched it. Big improvement.

Didn't quite nail it but it's headin' in the right direction.

This was a test investigating how well modo UVs work in ZBrush. Worked fine for me, which was unfortunate because i was trying to help a friend figure out why he was having problems doing the same thing...

This is something i made for an anim test. The lack of a head isn't a statement, I just wanted to concentrate on the body.

    And finally (for now) today's.

47mins sculpt. Why 47mins? Had to stop before the hour was up to take care of my daughter...

This one was about an hour. I don't know exactly because my timer crashed before I finished.

Sgrell - Thanks! I'm a long time modo user. When GoZ was introduced I was so stoked. But now that I do so much on my tablet PC I haven't used modo as much. It's tough because I'm all hotkeys in modo. I am currently working on a new, minimal key workflow...

Anders - thank you so much for your continued support! When are you gonna start posting again?!

Here's tonight. Stayed up too late as usual...

Great stuff! On your low poly sculpts... are those something you've gone back down to the lowest sub-D on or are you staying that low poly and working with them at that level? They look awesome. Especially if you are staying so low poly. Your capturing of the form is beautiful.

    Matenzo - thanks!

Clintus Maximus - thank you so much. As for low poly, do you mean like the two busts from a week ago? As far as I can remember I always show the highest res in the model. Those busts are at their highest poly count. The game plan was to keep up ressing them, adding detail as I go. Of course, since I tend to abandon things, they may never get any more detail...

Mr.Whiskey - Come on in. The water's fine. And thanks.
