    Thumbs up

Love the first Hydralisk pic in post #227. I think having some kind of orange crackle behind the character within the background image would show that piece off well with what you designed/composited. Currently it's lacking some "pop" and contrast which the color would accentuate the piece with and the crackle would fit into the design.

    Default World Order

    Hi all

Here is a new piece I've been working on
I titled it 'World Order', for now - inspired by recent world events/revolutions/political crises etc

Here's a test clay render from Maya, just one angle for now. It has multiple elements
It's not complete yet, just a WIP inching closer to the final

Hopefully will have more angles soon as well as Zbrush viewport shots, and the final result is on it's way

    Hope you like!
    Cheers

Man you got some awesome work, I really like the Hydralisk on the first render.

As for the scene, the soldiers look great, but the building is too simple and toy like compare to them.
I also like how here is a guy throwing a rock and they don't really care.

Looking really good. I'd change the pose of the two soldiers with the guns, they don't look as natural as they could. The way they are holding their guns looks kind of awkward. Looking forward to seeing more updates.

    Hey thanks ecas and MrHappy!

    Indeed it's just a WIP
This is just a test render of overall setup so far
Will definitely fix soldiers' poses as they are quite stiff

I have not sculpted background/buildings yet so it will be more detailed for sure, but if you're suggesting the overall shapes/design are too toy-like that's something else

Thanks for crits, and more C&Cs welcome, which is reason to post WIPs

    Cheers

So cool to see work put together like this where any one of the individual pieces would be considered a great sculpt on its own. Fantastic work as always and looking forward to more eagerly!

    Heya

Thanks voodoodad! And thanks to all who visit / appreciate my thread, it means a lot!

Back to a bit more sculpting on the characters anyhow

Here is slightly more detailed/sculpted police/soldiers:
p.s. I did use transparency for first time in Zbrush BPR, for visor glass on riot police
    Hope you guys like!
