generally demo versions of 3d programs do not allow rendering or put a huge watermark on the image. the march issue of computer arts magazine has a full version of vue d'esprit2 which is a bryce competitor. i would look at renderosity.com for bryce related info since it's used so heavily with poser.

Hi Newbie. You might check out eBay. Several months ago I found KPT6 (brand new Corel version) and got it for half of the normal price. I have Bryce4, and while it's a lot of fun, personally I think if you want to really practice your art, you're better off spending your time with ZBrush.
    Cheers

Hi Newbie1.....I don't remember much about the demo version, but in version 1.13 you go to the Draw pallette & use - Draw Size for Size- RGB Intensity for Color- Z Intensity for Depth. You can also size in Tool / Modifiers / Deformation. Hope this helps some??? Z'ya later..... Mark.

computer arts is out of the uk so the march issue may be on the shelf still. e-on's website has demos available but i don't know the restrictions on them. check out the computer arts link i posted in this thread maybe you can get a back issue if it's not on the shelf anymore. i haven't checked it out but it says full version nothing about being a demo. of course if you decide that you want the features in 3 you'll have to buy it. btw the demo is only for pc. do a search on vue d'esprit on google. you'll find quite a few links.
