This is my take on one of the Diablo barbarian
concepts. This originally started out as a project to teach myself Zbrush. It all started with the Face and after seeing the Blizzard concept I really wanted to make the helmet. I just kept going with it and this is what I ended up with. I hope you like my work.
I modeled everything in 3ds Max. I went back and forth between 3ds Max and Zbrush adjusting until I was satisfied with my low poly models. I then unwrapped them and threw them into Zbrush for sculpting. Rendering was done in 3ds Max All of the textures and final compositing of layers were done in Photoshop.
My original image files are 1920x1080. I had to shrink them down to fit the 500k limit. You can see them at full size here:

Blizzard has some of the best concept artists I have ever seen. Their work is a true inspiration to me.
