Cooelle!I can't wait to see what's bump and what's mesh. And what size the mesh is. Eyes seem to be my bug bare so it'll be interesting to see how they're done too.
My kind of guys Ken. Love em both. Is the effect around them ZB or post work in another package?
Love the spickey skull.
Glen
Gotta love them ugly little buggers! The one on the right is my favorite too.
Another Texture Master tut??? Truly it will be a treat!
I hangout regularly at www.zbrushhangout.com, you can catch me there working on something quite regularly.

The model meshes are fairly low-res. The spikey head was a adaptive skin from zspheres. The green one was an imported human head of mine and sculpted in ZB

I wanted to attempt to paint in most of the detail (as opposed to modeling it) in a little more stylized way. By turning up the "color bump" in the material, it gave the surface more detail.
Glen, the effect around them is the clouds filter in PS.
Excellent as always. These guys fit the bill perfectly! Will be another great tutorial, I'm looking forward to it! Thanks for the inspiration man!

Italian Zbrusher
Nice work!
Wow! I really like both of these guys. The big one with the curly hair reminds me of the big "slow" guy in The Green Mile, whose name escapes me. I am also hoping for a mini-tut on these.
prosthetic make-up would never pull this trick out, eh Ken?
they're ferocious enough to be in the movie version of the Hobbit, if anyone finds it commercial enough to make a movie out of it.
the modelling techniques that you and Glen use when doing faces are the ones we all learn from. the simian troll is my fave.
These are both super-the left being my pick-I love the look in the eyes-I'd swear there is life in them.He stares for a thousand yards.
